Those with Two clocks

Those with Two Clocks is an invigorating. It takes it there production not only takes down the patriarchy; but makes it so that it almost doesn’t exist. Using comedy and comedic timing only enforces the messaging. Although its hilarious it’s also doused with real life situations that women and those who identify as women deal with consistency.

Age Restriction for Those with Two Clocks

I will highly caution anyone under the age to attend this showing. This comedy has conversations that most audience would find inappropriate for a younger crowd. Also there is strong nudity in this play. With that being said if you are not keen to adult language you may find the production to be a bit much.

Interactive or Not

I decided to be interactive and without knowing what that meant. You will be on the stage where the amazing actors/actresses are. If for some reason you aren’t comfortable for that, opt to stay in the crowd. However, the more interactive is the best seat in the house to see it all.

Those with Two Clocks 2 Part Show

Yes you read that right! The show has 2 parts and it’s up to you how long you stay at the first. The first part is giving you a traditional sitting time with untraditional moments throughout. The second part is an immersive part that allows you to stay for about 90 minutes total. Both are important and you can’t skip part 2 at all.

What to Expect

You need to come with an open mind. There is a lot of themes visited. Many of the topics discussed talk about real life issues such as rape and more. Although there’s a lot of comedic timing keep in mind these are topics that are usually brushed away by the patriarchy. God forbid you leave them out. So be prepared to visit these topics in a way that will make you think. Some of the things will most likely be said in ways you wished you had been able to say them. Sometimes out of fear of being “cancelled” you refrain from expressing yourself. In Those with Two Clocks, there’s no holding back whatsoever. It’s direct, raw and goes there.

Take Aways

I’ve never been to a production such as this ever. It’s sad and interesting at the same time. Theater is a way to speak the things we wish we had the courage to speak for ourselves. I felt empowered to see these actors/actresses do what they love with such a powerful story. In addition I never seen womanhood celebrated so out loud. It was like a march, a demonstration and theater wrapped into one.

This is your last weekend to see Those with Two Clocks. Trust me once you see it it’s going to leave you with more conversation. You’re going to want to call someone and tell them what you saw. The jokes and the imagery alone will make you tell someone else. Its impactful and you will never ever forget it. I also questioned my own acceptance and participation in patriarchy.
