If you have ever been to any of the White Dog Cafe, then you know how great the food is. From the décor to the drinks to the food it makes an ordinary dining experience elevated. So, when I found out that White Dog was opening a new location it was a no brainer to attend and get some of the first feels of it. The newest location is open now in Chester Springs and it is everything and more that I could have expected.
Chester Springs in Exton PA
The address of the newest location is in Chester Springs is on 181 Gordon Drive. It is nestled between several other businesses but sits alone. It was super easy to find and about a little less than an hour from Philadelphia. It is the perfect location to give country vibes but also allowing you to come in and experience the atmosphere that is known at all White Dog. Is it my favorite? I think it may be slowly becoming such. Here are a few reasons why:

The décor in White Dog Chester Springs
As with all locations the White Dog cafes wouldn’t be what they are without dogs being present. From the time you walk in you can see beautiful displays of dogs. Some of the pictures are actual pictures of various dog owners. This location used to be the home of Abolitionist John Vickers. During our tour we were able to see where the underground railroad used to be. I was amazed at it to be honest. I don’t remember the last time I had seen one so up close. A lot of the original home can be found on site thus preserving the long history.
This location can hold 400 guests comfortably having many places within for such things as private meetings, dinners, parties, and more. This is a great location to host a baby or bridal shower or holiday function too. Trust me they have the capacity to make sure that your special occasion is worthwhile.
Coziness of White Dog Chester Springs
Again, it could be that I am originally from Lancaster, but it does help with elements of comfort and cozy. Often, I am more inclined to gravitate towards things that showcase it. While there at White Dog Chester Springs you will find various fireplaces located even in their outside terrace that is perfect for outdoor dining. There are several areas inside of the White Dog Chester Springs like the Parlor Bar, Dining Room, Porch, The Tavern, Drawing Room, and the Barn. Again, this is allowing for you to sit and be accommodated for many reasons and looks.
Food and Drinks
The food and drinks are obviously a main character from the décor and location. So, when you come to any White Dog know that there chefs are doing all they can to not simply serve you food but give you a food experience. For instance, yesterday I had a plant-based burger, and the flavor was immediate. From the pickles and cheese uses it turned a regular plant-based burger into something delightful. In addition, even their appetizers are main characters. So, if you were off work and coming into White Dog simply for appetizers and drinks know that you will leave full and happy.
What to Expect while at White Dog
You will enjoy great food, good drinks both cocktail as well as mocktails, kids menu, and a sense of being at home without having to cook yourself. From the brunches to dinner, you will have a time. I took home a few of the options that wasn’t finished, and it was just as good as it was in real time. Exploring and trying new options is always a great way to be the foodie you want to be.
As with all restaurants make sure that you make reservations ahead of time. If you are looking to host an event, make sure that you reach out right on their website. Enter as much information and someone will reach out to you to help guide your event.
Coming Up at All White Dog Cafe
The 7th annual Dining for dogs is coming on Tuesday July 16th to raise money for Alpha Brave Canine. There will be Tito Doghouse cocktails for $14, pup cupcakes, a flight of gourmet hot dogs and so much more. All proceeds will go to Alpha Brave Canine. Make a reservation at any of the White Dog Café and if you are looking to have a VIP (Very Important Puppy) table that guarantees outdoor seating I would book that sooner rather than later. There will be so many wonderful opportunities this day to donate so make sure you come out. I will be out at one of the locations a well.
Congratulations to Stokes Architecture + Design along with the rest of the team of Fearless Restaurants that committed to a great concept at White Dog Chester Springs. Thank you also to Jaimi, PR, who invited and treated us so well during their visit. It was so good that I already made reservations to come with my parents. This is a middle location between my hometown of Lancaster and Philadelphia. They will see me at this location quite often.
