Week 10 only means we are immediately close to the end of the Summer! With that in mind it was a great week! This week didn’t cost anything. Lunch was gifted, cookies gifted, Legoland already accounted for so another no money spent week was great! I’m super proud of this Summer and all of the adventures we were able to have! But we have one more week before school!
Monday
My kids went to their school to help set the classrooms up. This is their 3rd year helping. I find that this assists them in not having anxiety for their first day back. They are able to meet their teachers and have a sense of calm before they return. My youngest starts kindergarten so it was definitely helpful to make sure that she is equally ready. We have been reading all kinds of books to get them ready!
Tuesday
We went to get me ready for the Diner en Blanc event. We spent the morning grabbing all kinds of stuff. We also went to the pet store at my oldest request. They wanted to convince me to get them another pet! That was a no go but we all had lots of fun with the animals! We even enjoyed cookies!
Wednesday
Took the kids back to their school to help set up. They were then treated to lunch and I took them to Legoland! They had a ball. it was great for them to be able to run around!
Thursday
It was all about Diner En Blanc! From facials to hair and makeup it was all about having an amazing day! My kids were troopers about it! They spent the day with their cousin as we enjoyed the day!
Friday
They wanted to have a video game challenge and I needed some rest! The Diner En Blanc wasn’t over until 2am and I still got up at 6am! By 10, it was a wrap! It caught up with me! We had some weekend plans and it was time to prep!
Saturday
We went to Nockamixon State Park! It was so much fun being around family! Shout out to Gesella and Erica who did their thing planning the End of Summer party! The kids ate well and swam! It was everything!
We have one more week before school and it will be complete last minute prep! I’m talking about sneaker and supplies shopping! Hair cuts and hair salon appointments will be on the list! I can’t wait to do the parent shuffle!! Until then….make this last week count!
