Happy Wednesday and welcome November. What a month we have ahead. From celebrating the Blogiversary and welcoming in the holidays we have a lot to do. One thing I can’t stress enough and I say this often is prioritizing your mental health. I also want to add checking in with your children if you have them. They have stress too. Adults need to be better at recognizing just that.
Halloween Vibes
I sure hope those who celebrate had a good and safe Halloween. It was a lot of fun to get out. In Philadelphia the weather was beautiful and seasonably warm. The kids had a great time. We let our oldest hang with her friends supervised by another parent. I have to admit I still was apprehensive. I had her locations on, back up charger and cord with her and video check ins. To some this seems excessive but to me it was necessary. She did well. We also gave her a safe word to use if her friend suggested something she wasn’t comfortable with or got into trouble. This word would be used and we pick her up no questions asked and make sure she is as safe as possible.
Days Off-Wednesday Recap
The kids had off from school for All Saints Day. I enjoyed them. They slept in a little longer. The kids played games together and even traded candy. It was a blessing to see them in full joy outside of me telling them to clean up. Nothing like providing a safe space for them to thrive and do what they want to do. It makes me happy that they still want to play together. So although I had several things that I was working on it still made for an easy day. Plus any time I don’t have to be up at 5am is a good one.

Wednesday Self Care
With it being Wednesday and we also talk about wellness today I want to talk about time management. For one the issue with time management comes in the form of also having others respect our time as well. There is nothing more irritating than feeling disrespected with time. You have to find a way to pride yourself in how you handle time. This makes it easier for you to see when others find themselves as habitual line steppers in your world. If you are constantly late, and not dependable can you really fault others for doing the same? Let’s honor ourselves and others around us by being a better steward over our greatest commodity and that’s our time.
So keep your eyes out for all things media and blog related. I am in the midst of my Blogiversary and this month will come with extreme blessings. Have a great week and remember to fuel and rest.
