Families and friends are now in for some airtime at Urban Air in East Norriton. This location has it all. My family had a blast and there are some summer specials in time for summer break that you should be aware of. However, if you have never been to any Urban Air here are my tips to making your time fun.
What to Expect at Urban Air East Norriton
It is located inside of a shopping center. In my opinion it was easy to find and about 35 minutes away from Philadelphia. In addition, currently there is some construction happening. However, it doesn’t stop you from gaining access to the facility. Once there you can either get your tickets online which I highly suggest. It will save you a little bit of time. You will need their special socks.
If you have a pair already, please bring them. No personal socks can be worn. These socks have grip and help you to be safe while you are there. Every person will need a ticket and socks if they are participating. There are different price points, so you want to be mindful.
Basic, Deluxe, or Ultimate Attractions-which do I prefer?
I prefer deluxe. This allows you to do everything that is offered. Trust me when your kids or you see all that there is to do you are going to want to do it all too. Basic, allows you access to the Tubes Indoor Playground, Dodgeball, Slam Dunk, Runway Tumble Track, and Basic Trampolines. There is nothing basic about the basic package. This is about $20.99.
The Deluxe package allows you everything in the basic package as well as the Prozone Performance Trampolines, Drop Zone, and Warrior Course. The price is $25.99. The Ultimate package will give you both the Basic and Deluxe as well as Sky Rider (zipline, Flip Zone, Ropes Course, and Climbing Walls. With the Deluxe you don’t have to have limits, and this is $30.99. The packages are a few dollars in between each other. So, choose what is best for you.
How Urban Air Works
Once you arrive whether you bought your tickets online or not you need to sign a waiver. This is important and standard. Read over it and then proceed. Once you are done you will be given your socks as well as your wristband. Your wristband goes with the package that you purchase. It helps the staff know if you are in the right place. For instance, if you bought a basic package and don’t have access to some areas then you won’t be able to participate. Please follow the directives of all staff.
What do Parents do while the kids are at play?
You play with them or relax. My husband and I enjoyed a Sunday funday of honest fun. We jumped, I ziplined and so much more. There are some attractions that are designated for certain height and weight requirements. Please follow the signs and act accordingly. They are set up for your safety.
Which Areas did my Family enjoy most at Urban Air?
I loved the zipline called Sky Rider. This was one of the things that I was determined to do. Pro tip wear shorts or some thing sweatpants. Your shorts should go well past your thighs so that the harness doesn’t rub against you and cause harm. I know that many parents like to sit back and watch and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, I allowed that to be my gym day. This was a full workout. The jumping and running is a great way to move.
Also, they kids loved and I mean loved the Dodgeball. They went back to it multiple times. It had a lot to do with the staff. There is a staff member inside to help the kids keep the rules and play with him. That young man which I am upset I didn’t get his name loves his job. He was enthusiastic and the kids were going off his energy. The kids had to be in there for an hour alone. They loved challenging themselves to stay in the game but also to get the staff member. I enjoyed seeing their joy.
Parents Relaxing at Urban Air
For the parents that want to relax but be alert, there are comfortable chairs to sit in. You can even add money to get a full body massage. Here’s the thing, please be watchful for your children especially smaller kids. My kids had the talk about watching out for smaller kids and I enforced it by watching them as they interacted too.
Summer Specials at Urban Air East Norriton
The Summersational Play is coming to East Norriton. For $54.99 per person, you can get a 3-month pass starting for June 3. It is including unlimited ALL summer play and a pair of socks with no black out day. The pass at the price of $54.99 will end June 2nd and the regular price is $99.99. This is a huge savings and built in fun for the whole family. Great for those days where it rains and more. You can trust that your kids will burn out all that extra energy. That means Ultimate Pass for the full summer. You can’t beat that. It pays for itself in less than 2 visits.
