There’s a new restaurant under the Fearless Restaurant umbrella called Testa Rossa. It arrived in December and has been making waves ever since. From the Italian American flare to the aesthetics, Fearless has a winner on their hands. So what about their brunch menu sets them apart?
Before you go to Testa Rossa
Know that it is an Italian American menu. The location for now as it is already in the process of expanding is located at 919 Baltimore Pike in Glen Mills. There is plenty of parking available. It is visually stunning in every way. I would highly suggest that you make reservations ahead of time. As more and more people get to know about this location I can guarantee that it will be a place that without reservation will cause a longer wait time. It is spacious but if you have a large party, make plans ahead of time.

Brunch at Testa Rossa is a win
Myself, and 3 other amazing content creators went to try it out. We were not disappointed. The selections can be eaten by itself or be made shareable. I highly suggest that the appetizers be shared. The portions are so plenteous that you could turn the appetizers into a meal as well.

Appetizers at Testa Rossa
Calzone Dolce
This is a dessert based appetizers but it has a hearty element to it too. Made with roasted banana, mascarpone mousse, nutella, and dark rum caramel. This was easy shared between us four. I did take a small piece home. It is gooey but not overly sugary despite the ingredients.
Crispy Calamari
You can’t ever go wrong with calamari. I think its always a great choice for appetizers. Bold flavor and definitely one that I would order again.
Fried Meatball
This meatball is hands down full of flavor. It’s like having a meatball and burrato marry and it makes for the most delicious addition to the brunch menu.
If you love pasta and want to try a pro tip, the pastas can be made into half portions and made into an appetizer. With that being said, the Meatball Ravioli is a must try. If that is a half portion, the full portion is absolutely something to behold. I really enjoyed this dish. My favorite out of the appetizers that we tried would have the Calzone Dolce and the Meatball Ravioli as a tie.
Cocktails and An Amazing Mocktail Offerings
I was impressed of their extensive cocktail listing. Not only that the also have zero proof and mocktails. For many this month who are doing Dry January one of my personal pet peeve is when companies offer things like a Shirley Temple as their mocktail offering. Also offering things like sodas and juice only. They actually have a great zero proof tequila and it made a great cocktail, The Roman Holiday. It is made with zero-proof tequila, pineapple, and lime.
Testa Rossa Main Dish Offerings
Breakfast Pizza-Breakfast Panuozzo
This is made with sausage-tomato, folded egg, cooper sharp cheese, picked peppers, pizza dough roll, and arugula salad. The egg is light which I appreciated. Not having it taste too heavy egg based helps even for egg eaters. This helped to keep the pizza taste strong.
Tiramisu French Toast
Espresso battered brioche, mascarpone mousse, marinated strawberries, and cocoa powder. One of my issues with French Toast is that it can be too mushy. This surprising wasn’t. If you love French Toast and Tiramisu this is the perfect love child of them both.
Chicken Parm Panuozzo
This is a chicken parmesan sandwich and has long hots on it too.
Spaghetti & Mussels
If you love mussels and spaghetti you would like this dish. It does have a heavy mussel taste. In addition there are hazelnuts on top. In my opinion that could have been avoided. That is probably the only constructive criticism of all of the meals tried.
Leave Room for Dessert at Testa Rossa
They have the most eclectic offerings. You will not find these desserts at other locations outside of the cannoli.
Twisted Gelato
Chocolate and vanilla gelato, malted pretzels, and caramel. It is very rich. I would make this shareable too.
Bomboloni
Italian donuts, apple compote, chocolate hazelnut and vanilla pastry cream. Dup your donuts into them for such a treat.
Pomegranate Float
If you love a good pomegranate soda with vanilla gelato. I loved this-had I not had all of the other food, give me two of these.
Thank you Fearless Restaurants specially Testa Rossa for having me and my foodie friends! Solid menu, great drinks, and wonderful brunch menu for all!
