All of the beauty of the other Terrain Cafe has come to Doylestown. Part shop and part restaurant they both blend together to get the most inviting, aesthetic, and unique place to eat and frolic with plants.
Before you go to Terrain Cafe in Doylestown
Reservations are highly encouraged especially for brunch. It’s located near Delaware Valley University. The garden shop where you can get beautiful plants, planting material, and more js open daily from 10-6pm. Dining is inside, as well as outside including a covered patio. It’s visually aesthetic no matter where you sit. The way it’s built the natural lighting is heavenly. The food is good and rich. Check the menu before you make a reservation to ensure all in your party will enjoy it.
Drinks at Terrain Cafe Doylestown
Whether you are enjoying a cocktail or mock-tail they are made fresh and delicious. As always I tried both. The mock-tail that I had was called Garden Sips and the flavor was peach. It was very refreshing and well made. For those who like to switch up their drinking or don’t drink at all will find it pleasant. The Garden Sips come in 9 flavors as well as there are 3 other mock-tail offerings available.
Orange Blossom Martini
Honestly I’ve been on an orange blossom kick lately. It reminds me of the orange blossom popsicles I had as a kid. This drink is anything kid like as it fuses vodka, orange blossom water, and white peach purée. It’s a perfect summer drink. The way Terrain Cafe’s restaurant is made you will feel like you’re sitting on an open patio enjoying your food and drinks.
Charcuterie Board and Appetizers
There are so many options at Terrain Cafe. I took my son and we chose the Charcuterie board and add prosciutto. The blend of seasonal cheeses, fruit, honey, and more made for one beautiful spread. This board is easily shareable and made well. I didn’t get this time but I’ve been to many of the other Terrain Cafes and I highly recommended the mushroom soup. It’s one of my favorites.
Always enjoy the Flowerpot Bread and butter. It is a mainstay at Terrain Cafe!
Main Course Energy at Terrain
Obviously you can enjoy just drinks and bites or you can enjoy a full meal experience. My son was way too hype to accompany me for this dinner. I looked over the menu prior to going and I must say I believe kids with an elevated palate will enjoy the food selections at Terrain Cafe. My children no longer eat off the kids menu so this is a perfect spot. While dining I watched how most of the kids enjoyed their dinner. He selected the Terrain Burger and opted for the fries. I selected the Seared Salmon. It was made to perfection.
Vibes while Dining
Honestly I’ve said this before and I stand on it, when it comes to Terrain Cafe it’s one of the most beautiful places to dine. It checks off so many notes of my personal self care. The ability to eat outside or on the covered patio, the plants that drape in and around the property, the natural light, and great food make the dining more than simply eating. Terrain Cafe is a dining experience. Albeit simple it leaves you feeling peaceful and serene.
Dessert Options
I don’t always mammals room for desserts but at Terrain Cafe I’m glad that I did! I had the strawberry shortcake. It was warm, delicious, and fulfilling. I didn’t finish it i instead took it home and reheated it in the air fryer on reheat mode and it made a second pleasant experience at home to enjoy!
The drive in Doylestown is a quiet one nestled between trees and greenery. There is plenty of parking on the premises. The drive reminds me of being in Lancaster which is my original hometown. It’s quiet. For those living in Philadelphia it’s about an hour’s drive away. I enjoyed the drive as drives provide that reflection or in my case time to catch up with my son. I recommend Terrain Cafe for a girls/guys night out, first or subsequent dates, anniversary or special occasions, and definitely an amazing brunch spot. Thank you to the staff at Terrain Cafe as well as our waitress, Megan for providing excellent service to my son and I.
