Happy Sunday! How many of you woke up feeling more revived due to the extra hour of sleep? Hopefully you did. For those who struggle with sleep it may feel uncomfortable. Also for those who like me don’t need a clock you may have gotten up earlier than normal today here are some ways to adjust.

Sunday Naps

Now it may be a Sunday fun day! Maybe today you realize you still need a nap. Take it. Set your alarm for 20 minutes. 20 minutes is what you need for a cat nap to help adjust. Naps is a form of self care. There are times when you sleep during a depressive mood. This is not what we mean. It’s the kind of nap that is supposed to energize you without messing with your sleep or your night time routine. Whatever you need today take it. For those who are parents, your extra hour of sleep doesn’t usually exist! May your coffee be strong!

Plan your Week Goals

Goals are better achieved with a plan. I have major campaigns that are due this week. One you will see tomorrow and is holiday related. The other is being turned in for brand checking. Either way my Sunday I like to have a game plan. I batch create video content, and work on this weeks’ blogs. I have quite a lot of theater blogs to get out this week. However nothing is done randomly. So what are you in need to make happen? Write it down. Make a plan! Be clear on your intentions. Let’s not walk into this week or any other week with blindness.

PA Elections Week

I was asked by many of those who are on the ballot to endorse them. It’s not that I don’t have an ideal on who to vote for. My issue is that politics is something I leave for personal reasons. I will always encourage you to exercise your power to vote. Make a plan. We take the kids with us. No they can’t vote but we want them to be familiar with how it’s done. I’m a political science major and the political world is what I studied in college. I love it but don’t engage online. By now you should know where you’re polling place is. If not, use this to discover.

Sunday Mood Boosters

What’s a way to boost your mood?! I like to be active in all areas. Now today I’m on the sick and shut in list. If you ever went to a Black church the sick and shut in list was read to know whom to pray over. So keep me and the cold that keeps visiting me in prayer. I like to start with the gym and since I can’t today I will be breaking down my Fall tree, moving furniture, and deep cleaning to prep for the Christmas decor that is going up today! You may not be ready! Normally I’m not this early either.

The campaign Im doing is obviously Christmas related. I normally switch my tree from Fall to Christmas on Thanksgiving night. The song/artist of the week for me that I will listening to is The Winans. I went to Starbucks this week and they were playing it and now I can’t stop listening to them. What’s been a song or artist you can’t stop listening to this week?

Week Ahead

One thing even beyond goals for the week is setting your vibes. Music is really the soundtrack of my life. I do things like watch podcasts, music therapy and more to set the vibe of the week. It’s important to do. What are your go to’s?

I will go to the gym about 3 days a week! I finally have a hair appointment so I will be there Monday-Wednesday. I’ll do yoga at least once this week as well plus I have a semi heavy media week this week too!
