Ho! Ho!! It’s the most magical time of the year! Time for all of us to get deep into the holiday spirit! But how do we see Santa and stay safe from you know what?! Garces has the answer! Garces has an experience with Santa accompanied with cookies and drinks for the adults. This gives you an intimate experience with the Big Guy himself. Allowing parents the time to enjoy a few moments of relief and the opportunity to continue traditions!
Zoom Please
Yes we all know how much we are using Zoom but I love the idea of an intimate setting with Jolly St. Nick! As soon as I said we were using Zoom with Santa the kids’ faces lit up! This is a welcome change from school. Garces made the experience one of a kind. The setting was intimate because we were home in our matching pjs and taking in everything!
Pick up
They had thee best cookies and dare I say, adult drinks ready. Two flavors that I must say are definitely worthy of their purchase, Spiced Pear and Holiday Egg Nog. Listen here, parents-we need these drinks. The pour isn’t light and I needed a good drink to start the festivities! The cookies were too good. They are delicious. Before the rest of the kids could get some, my niece had all but ate them all up!
Cookie Time
These cookies as I can’t get over how good they are were packaged so beautifully. I mean they were ready for safe pick up and they came with bells and whistles. The staff was welcoming and warm.
Ask Santa
The kids enjoyed asking Santa about his delivery of presents, to how he does with kids trying to set traps for him and everything in between. No question was a bad question. He of course had to ask them what they wanted. He encouraged them to mail letters to him. The kids had quite a few things to say. So as you prepare for your time with Santa, encourage them to come with their own set of questions. They can ask about the Elves, Mrs. Claus, etc.
Story Time
Santa read the kids 2 stories. These stories were captivating and they loved it. Santa has a way with making even the most fidgety kid calm down. I loved story time myself but I’m a big kid at heart. It felt good to see them enjoy it and knowing that while I’m keeping them safe, times are different, that one thing always can remain-keeping the joy of the holidays at center stage!
Options
There are a few other options that Garces has. They have 5 signature drinks and one Spanish Gin and Tonic kit. You know that adults love options for their drinks. Drinks are always available as to go given the new Pennsylvania experience. They have the 2 Holiday drinks: Olde Bar Aged Egg Nog and the A Patridge in a Spiced Pear Tree. I looked on their website and they have hot cocoa (today is National Hot Cocoa day) including hot cocoa kits. And if you need a Gingerbread House you can get one of their specialty kits or do what I should have done and grabbed their already made house to decorate!
Let’s Eat
Beyond that remember they are serving their meals to be ordered and delivered. While I was there business was hot and moving. Oh and if you’re not a cooker trust me they have all kinds of greatness too. They have it all from an in home cocktail party to an intimate gathering for Christmas they have you covered.

Experiences are the best especially when you’re able to be safe!
