Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. It’s a good day to have a good day. Today’s blogpost is a recap of the most recent eateries. Food is life and having great places to dine for special occasions, or a casual get together is important. I will break down my recent eating spots and break down what spots are good for such as children, date night, and more.

Goodness Bowls

The location that I went to is off Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr. I highly recommend this location. Its cozy and the vibes give a hearty breakfast, snack, or coffee area. This location I would recommend this for a breakfast get together, me time, and a casual coffee date. FYI, they have a variety of drinks and foods. I personally enjoy their bowls. I got the acai bowl, and it was delicious. The issues that you may encounter is going to be more about what to eat than if the food is good.

I prefer more quaint locations since I am always at media events, and they are a lot. My house is a lot too. So anytime I can go and enjoy some quietness. It is near Villanova. Be prepared for college students to gather. In addition, it is near Starbucks. This is a great alternative for those not drinking coffee at Starbucks. I would suggest going first thing in the morning if you are looking for a quieter experience. Goodness Bowls also serve smoothie, wellness shots, fresh juices, and more.

Rayaki Ramen

This is you ramen spot for those who love anime. It is head to toe anime decorations and more. If you love anime run, don’t walk to any of their locations. This is in North Philadelphia at 2818 Cottman Avenue. The service was amazing as well as the food. I would suggest this for a date night, fun with kids who love anime and ramen. There are a lot of options and bubble teas including dessert options. The food is made well, and I have nothing bad to say about the experience. I do have plans to take my son and eldest niece.

Carmine’s Eatery

If you think you love American Italian dishes, this is your spot. Right off the bat you will notice is located inside of a shopping center Do not let that fool you. As soon as you walk in it is nothing like you expected. Inside is stunning and there is more room than what the eyes show you when you are outside of it. The drinks and that is cocktails as well as mocktails too are beautifully done and well balanced. I recommend the Lemon Bubbly. It is refreshing and delicious.

The food is something to behold. As soon as I was done, I texted my husband and reminded him that I found our next date night. You can bring your kids but keep in mind after you visit you may want to decide to switch them out for more of an adult fun. If you are celebrating a special occasion, I would recommend going here. This is an excellent space to host girls/guys’ night.

All of the Options and Eateries

So, I have given you options for breakfast, lunch, snacking, cocktails, meet ups, and so much more just from those locations. Most of them are located outside of the city and that means that it includes parking. Rayaki Ramen has their own parking lot and is near the Philadelphia Mills. The day that I visited I was able to go shopping and was in and out in no time. Happy Friday and cheers for the weekend. Go and eat well.
