Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

Legoland Discovery in Philadelphia located inside of the Plymouth Meeting Mall has elevated your child’s playtime and creativity with Play Unstoppable. Play Unstoppable Festival is happening now until May 27th. It includes a new Legoland Friends 4D movie, ability to create a festival animal, design a flower to be included in the flower cart, festival dance parties, and more. Here’s the recap of the time with my kids last week.

What to expect at Legoland Discovery Play Unstoppable Festival

As with anything it is better and cheaper to get your tickets online. Getting them in person is still okay but you also run the risk that the time that you want to go in and play could be sold out. If you go during the week expect the possibility that your time could be split with school bus children and schools for field trips. Pro tip for the during the week visits is to go around 12:30/1pm. This is the time when the filed trip folks are having lunch and wrapping up their time.

There is a lot to do and see. This is a place of creativity. Plan to touch, explore, and more while there. Wear comfortable shoes and socks as well as clothing. Be prepared for your child to roll on the floors and more while there. You will need socks if your child plans to play in the Pirate Adventure Island Soft Play. My older two kids finally are too tall to explore there. We have been coming for years until we finally hit this mark. Be sure to always keep an eye on your child(ren).

New Lego Friends 4D

Like with their other 4D movies expect to have a little water splash and so much more. We really liked this one. The fact that there were so many moving parts. It really captivated our attention. Not sure if I liked it more than the others but the kids said they did. The 4D overall is a fantastic addition and you must be available to view it while there. As soon as you walk into Legoland you will see the posted times. They are also posted over where the movies are being shown. Enjoy.

Be Prepared to Build

Legoland Discovery wouldn’t be what it is if it didn’t have the ability to build with the Legos. The kids really took their time this time. They enjoyed their ability to make their own action-packed movie. They created with Legos a masterpiece of a man on a horse that fell. It was wonderful seeing how they could work together and enjoy the process. They created it using stop motion. This is a great skill to learn as I encouraged them to do the same on their phones too.

Imagination Express

Before you start your adventure make sure you ride Imagination Express. It is a well thought out ride that is fun for all ages. It is one part ride, adventure, problem solving, and so much more. We look forward to being on the ride. I looked back at all our pictures throughout the years. You can see their growth and so much more. This ride is about 5 minutes if not a little less. It is a great interactive way to start the day. Shoes are required to ride and there are max and minimum height and other requirements.

Lego Ninjago Training Camp

This is a fun and interactive ways for you and the kids to evaluate your agility. Using laser lights, you must get through without touching them. If you do the lights will shut off and you will have to exit. You can challenge yourself from different skills set from novice to expert. Either way this is a fun addition to the fun.

Diplo Park

Create a flower and more for the flower cart. This allows you the ability to really take your time. I let the kids in this area for as long as they needed. They built for about 20 minutes. I love seeing how creative they can be. In addition, there is a soft place for some of the smaller Lego goers. I allowed my kids to build here and watched them as I like to normally leave that area for the smaller kids. They build Baby Yoda a house to live in. Either way it was a lot of fun watching them.

This is only the beginning as you have the Arctic Adventure, Earthquake Table, Lego Friends, and so much more to do. This is a one stop shop of fun. While there don’t forget to stop and grab some food, lunch and more. We spent the full day thanks to Legoland Discovery for having us. Make memories and encourage creativity.
