Before you go to the Pennsylvania Chocolate and Coffee Festival

I highly advise you to get your tickets before you go. The tickets if available are there on site. However when I got there I couldn’t find anyone to get tickets. Be advised I had tickets beforehand but I like to look for the things that I think a consumer would want to know. There was a booth but no one there. This means that you would have to look for someone to get your ticket. I had a VIP ticket. It is highly advised that you get the VIP ticket. It allows you one hour to enter. Trust me you are going to want a smaller crowd so you can enjoy your samples and sips.

If you do not get a VIP ticket get there as soon as you can. The crowds are manageable. There are plenty of samples from the chocolate vendors. From the chocolate covered bacon to bourbon infused chocolate. Options are available. From white chocolate, dark chocolate and every other option in between. It is an all age event. I took my 15 year old who doesn’t drink coffee and doesn’t like chocolate. She had a great time. She bought dry freeze candy, met the mascots, and more.

Meet the Mascots

So as I was coming in I was able to see the mascots, Chunk the chocolate bar and Bean the coffee cup. They are both cute in every way. There are posted times for you to meet and take pictures. Make sure you get to the picture spot about 5 minutes. Line up towards the right hand side. This way you can meet the mascots and not be in the way. Be patient. There will be a line and each meetup time is about an hour. The first one is about 11am.

Char and Stove

They have to be one of my favorite coffee and alcohol bar in Chestnut Hills. If you have never been I highly suggest that you try them. They have their newest coffee liqueur to sell. I had it and I must say it is hands down delicious. From the first sip to the last the coffee is strong but that is the point. I have another brand at home and I would trade it for this one. They are also celebrating one year in business. They also have a Pumpkin Spice Rum for sell too and you can try both for those 21 and up of course.

Caribbean Hibiscus

This is a great alternative for those who aren’t quite coffee drinkers and do not drink. It is plant based and delicious in every way. I was honored to go and try them. The customer service was amazing and the drink really is great. I can see a lot of ways to make this drink. You could make a tea from it, a smoothie, or if you feel the need to add a little alcohol then you can too. However this is a refreshing drink to try on its own. My teenager really like this one. Not there but want to support, buy your own bottle.

Asher’s Chocolate

I have done a few campaigns with them. So when I seen them I of course stopped. Their chocolate is some of the very best. From the way they make it to the way they package. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered us a full white chocolate pretzel. In my opinion I thought they would have their other plain chocolate pretzel pieces. I have had that sent to me before and it’s great. They also have a great peanut butter chocolate beer(not at the Pa Coffee and Chocolate festival).

Let’s Go Coffee

They had the best chocolate raspberry coffee. I asked them to add a little vanilla and it still wasn’t super sweet. You can get it hot or iced. The coffee wasn’t expensive. I paid about 7 dollars with tip made it 10. So inexpensive, great coffee for that price is a win for me. In addition and bigger than the coffee is their energy and their customer service. They do have a coffee float that I saw after I left. Make your way to them.
