Peddler’s Village is coming with an amazing OctoberFeast Celebration that you need to need to be apart. On October 14 and 15th enjoy the seventh annual OctoberFeast taking place at Peddler’s Village. In the meantime, you can view the largest display of scarecrows that will be available until October 31, 2023. All the restaurants are serving amazing seasonal options too. Here is the review of Buttonwood Grill as well as more information to get you ready for OctoberFeast.
Scarecrows on Display at Peddler’s Village
I took the family this past weekend to explore, eat, and see all the amazing displays of scarecrows. Now although it was a super rainy day that didn’t stop the kids from splashing in the rain and enjoying their time. The scarecrows were extremely creative. Each kid kept choosing which one they thought was the best. You can do the same.
Buttonwood Grill
We also stopped and dined at Buttonwood Grill. It is an American cuisine that is served with care. From things like quesadilla, burgers, ribs, and even an amazing vegetable soup, Buttonwood gets my stamp of approval. Each kid was able to select their appetizer but elected to share the soft pretzels with cheese sauce. Since they shared, I made sure to order two orders of them. They come in 3’s. The kids loved it. They described it as soft and the perfect combination of salt. FYI if you do not like the salt like my youngest, simply take it off. The cheese sauce was hot and gooey, and the kids enjoyed dipping their pretzels into it.
Soup and chili are in for the Fall. Buttonwood Grill’s vegetable chili is some of the best that I have had in a long time. I enjoyed the heartiness that it provided. It made me warm which was necessary on the cold and rainy day that we went. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork quesadilla. He said it tasted extremely fresh.
Drinks at Buttonwood Grill
The adults enjoyed amazing cocktails. The Perfect Fall Margarita was made to absolute perfection. Mixed with apple cider, Hornitos Plata tequila, triple sec, cranberry juice, and simple syrup it gives you the biggest dose of Fall. My husband elected to have the White Cosmo. I sipped it too and I can see why he selected. Now for the rest of September they have a few specials, and one was the Pumpkin Martini. I usually do not drink cream-based cocktails. However, I must admit that this one hands down my favorite.
Main Dishes at Buttonwood Grill
After those amazing appetizers we were ready for the main course. They have a kid approved kids’ menu. My youngest got a personal cheese pizza with fries. The older two kids have been long off the kid’s menu for years now. One enjoyed a burger and the other a full rack of ribs along with my husband. I elected to get the Grandma Mia pizza. Made with cheese, pesto sauce, tomato, and roasted garlic. It was delicious.
Desserts at Buttonwood Grill
Most of us was full. However, my son and I made sure to try a dessert. My son surprised me in his love for the flourless cake. It’s not something that I would see him enjoying. However he devoured that quicker than the burger. In addition to trying new things I had the Pumpkin Pecan Bread Pudding. Anyone from my extended family is reading this yes I ordered it on my own. It was the best bread pudding I had ever had. I found myself wanting an extra piece. That has never happened before. I highly recommend you trying it.
