Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

If you love peaches, Peddler’s Village is your absolute go to. I was there last weekend for their opening weekend and I wasn’t disappointed. With August also being Family Fun month, there’s something for everyone. Let’s dive in! Happy Peach season!

I had lunch at Earl’s New American and I left happy and full. They had some amazing peach entrees along with drinks that are not to be missed. Like I do with all restaurants here are my ratings for the following: customer service, food pairings, and atmosphere.

Customer Service

I always have my fillers on for how people treat you before you announce yourself. They over passed. I was running late due to traffic. When I made the initial call they couldn’t find my reservation but still was welcoming. By the time I arrived I was greeted and treated above well. This was before I announced who I was. That matters. They were aware that I was coming. When others come I want to know they will be treated from the first smile to the last. Earl’s New American customer service throughout the entire time.

Atmosphere

I had my 9 year old son. The vibes were amazing. There were other children in the dining room and all of them seemed to have a good time. Our server was hands down great. She was attentive, courtesy, and efficient. She guided me through the menu with ease. Also I loved the way she made changes for my son and made him feel like he was important! He talked about it as we left. It’s beautiful and bright and warm! You will love it.

Peach Food Pairings

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. For instance my Peach grilled cheese was hands down one of those meals you come back for. It’s a peach jam and the mix with cheese is just one of those combinations that don’t make sense but takes your taste buds dance.

Appetizers

I usually don’t get appetizers often because I like to focus on the main meal. The meatballs and the calamari that we had were hot, well prepared and simply delicious. So much care went into them.

Also it didn’t take the appetizers long to be made. This is great if there are parents who are concerned with having small children. We all know Food can be a welcoming distraction to the dining experience!

Peach Drinks

Peach inspired drinks pairs well with their inspired peach dishes!

I had the Porch Tea and the Peach Margarita. Both were absolutely hands down delicious. I will judge drinks harshly because some restaurants won’t mix the alcohol and drink well. They can be too watery or not flavorful. Earl’s New American drinks were delicious from the first sip to the last! Even when I let my drink sit for a bit it was just as good.

Don’t sleep on their shrimp and grits

Earl’s New American was a definite stop if you’re at Peddler’s Village. I highly recommend it! Makes a great place to celebrate too. There was a bridal shower in one of their rooms. So bring a family, date, or just some amazing alone time too they will treat you like family!

Activities to Do

There are a number of activities. From shopping, to wine at Chaddsford Winery to kid activities no one will go home without smiles on their faces. Let’s start with kid friendly activities.

Petting Zoo

There is a petting zoo for all. The prices is not bad. You pay $7 but you have a full day of access. That is excellent if you ask me. I was expecting it to be a one time fee for a one time entrance. I enjoyed it too not just my son! All of the animals were so welcoming. Just don’t feed the pig-has on a diet! You can see my reel!

Pony Rides

There are pony rides. My son enjoyed himself! He loved it. I wasn’t sure if he would. He’s 9 but he’s always changing all the time in his likes and dislikes. This price was $7 dollars as well. Pro tip: there is a dollar fee for using your credit/debit card. It didn’t bother me but in case you’re not wanting to spend that dollar, bring cash!

Face Painting and Magic Bubble Show

My son really wanted to get his face painted. The prices were $4-$7! You can pay with cash or Cash App or Venmo! I choose Venmo. A lot of parents may not feel comfortable. I say make that decision for yourself. We felt comfortable as well as the young lady doing it was masked.

The Magic Bubble Show by Meadow Perry was a favorite for both my son and I! So many bubbles to pop prior to the show. I didn’t see a price for the show but you could donate.

Chaddsford Winery

I loved this experience. One there was plenty of seating. My son was distracted by his popper I bought while at the Meadow Perry bubble show. I got him some water while I enjoyed some wine with a wine popsicle! It’s a must have. Also they have some delicious peach wine slushes. Those slushes can be enjoyed inside or you can walk around Peddler’s with it. I elected to sit and sip!

In addition to the winery, food, and drinks, we stopped at various shops! There were sidewalk sales as well as many shops to walk around and enjoy! We brought home bags of goodies. I had the best time! I can’t wait to go back! Peach infused treats are all over Peddler’s Village! So grab your tribe and make it a day!
