Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

Blume Philly

Happy Wednesday! We are on day 9 or 10 on a writing streak. I love it! There’s a lot going on and as we step into the last quarter time seems to speed time up. So Wednesday means we made it to the midweek. With that being said, what has been going on?

Wednesday Joy

Today I’m grateful for friendship! These last couple of weeks has made me grateful for friendships. Life is hard but having some good friends in your corner makes things that much more better. From talking to them, spending time with them it’s all about connections. I’ve been blessing in love of friends. Also being open to new relationships is key. I’ve moved away from the notion that no new friends is the way to be. I don’t want to be so closed off that I cut off my blessings.

Jet Wine Bar and Opera Philadelphia

Over the weekend I had way too much fun with Opera Philadelphia. Can you believe out of all of the events and shows I’ve been to that I had never been to an opera show? Welp that all changed on Friday! What a treat! Catch up on it on the blog. One thing I will do is write about my time especially if it’s new. Festival O22 is continuing this weekend. Get your tickets.

Wine Down Wednesday

Jet Wine Bar is a vibe. I love the attention to detail and that being at Jet Wine Bar is a flight of wine or more from all around the world. They have beer and other cocktails too but their wine is curated from blends from all over. If you’re in or ever will be In Philadelphia area land yourself at the wine bar and enjoy!

Wednesday Health Reminder

To all of my ladies and the men who love them, encourage them to get their breast checked. Today is National Dense Breast Day. This day is to remind women especially those over 40 or post menopausal women that breast density increases. With that is the risk of breast cancer. I’m in the midst of some serious checks with that right now. I have no news to report as of yet. However I’m always going to encourage us to be at our best health! I don’t mind being honest about anything on my plate especially if that will help another person. I’ve been vigilant on breast cancer screenings so if something is found I will be face it head on!

Media Events

If you have been following me on social media you can tell media events are well and back! I went to 3 events on Sunday alone. I look forward to some downtime this weekend. Let me know if you have any questions on something happening in philly. By now I have a strong hold on the beat of the city. I will be making some new series of blogs that ranks a lot of these places for different outings. This has been on my to do list while I also prepare my holiday guide this year too!

Blogs you may have Missed

Since I’ve been hitting the blogs daily I want to make sure you haven’t missed one. These blogs are for you. To help you with encouragement, mental health, being your best self or simply getting out and about in the city! In addition there are at least 5 events I haven’t mentioned this week in blog form but will be covering them on Friday’s recap. Be on the lookout. Philly will be having all kinds of action this weekend.

Midweek Wednesday Encouragement

Don’t forget to enjoy life. I can’t stress enough how important that is. Don’t waste your moments. Enjoy your success and allow your failures to help you adjust your crown and life. I know sometimes its hard and as the colder months comes so many changes that takes place feel like a great struggle. Be encouraged that you will definitely get better and rise above anything you are struggling with.

Wednesday encourgement

Blume Philly

If you haven’t been to Philly’s most Instagrammable place, Blume you are missing out. With that being said, Halloween season is here. They have a little scary fun including cocktails that are to die for! Myself, Ashley, and Elle of Siponwhat made a scary pit stop and tried a few of their cocktails. My personal favorite is Ghost. It’s made with Ghost tequila, coconut rum, pineapple, aquafaba, and cinnamon! It’s delicious!

Blume Philly

In addition to good cocktails don’t forget to enjoy some bites too. They have declared it all over including some Halloween favorites like Gremlins, and more! Grab your tribe and enjoy it all! I plan to have my recap of my time at Blume before the weekend so you can add it to your must try. Blume is located at 1500 Locust Street in Philadelphia PA.

Well that’s all for now. I am going to yet another media event tonight as well as one a day until the weekend. It’s the season for productivity. Enjoy your wine if you drink it. I will be having some beers and cocktails but I will report back. Apparently we just got a visual of tonight’s theme. If you are in philly make sure you pay attention to all of these Halloween themed bars/events and get to at least one before the season ends. Pro tip-go during the week to avoid larger crowds! Happy Wednesday!
