Happy Wednesday. Today is a good day to have a good day. We are a few days until the start of Spring. So expect the content to reflect that. In today’s mid week check in we are going to talk about timing and space. In addition to a few media events happening in Philadelphia.

Importance of Timing

Sometimes in life you can be at the right place and the right time and vice versa. So knowing where you need to be is important. Sometimes we don’t keep our timing well. We often misuse our time and then blame it on time. An example we say we don’t have time to meal prep when in reality it’s the lack of using time wisely. Be careful of the time you use or abuse.

Spacing in Life

I had a talk with a friend the other day. I was telling her more like complaining about a person and situation I needed to detach from. She explained that I needed to place a natural spacing. You ever end something and felt bad? Sometimes we need to let the natural progression of friendships to end. I felt her when she said it. She also gave me some tips on how to do it. When you have friends that can call you out in love and build you up that’s a friend for life.

Time Change Woes-Wednesday Reality 

All on my social media has been people still not adjusting to the time change. Losing that hour really does something to you. I took a 2 hour nap Saturday afternoon on purpose. This helped me to get ready. I used a nap playlist and when I tell you it gave me the best sleep I mean it. So if you’re struggling with sleep it’s also Sleep Awareness week. All week I’ve been posting about ways to get good sleep. For instance your night routine matters! The way in which you end your night will make the difference in the morning!

P’unk Burger Girl Scouts Themed Milkshakes

If you love Girl Scouts cookies these shakes are a no brainer. They can be made to be vegan as well. While at P’unk Burger make sure you grab yourself one of their infamous burgers. They are delicious and can be added with one of their signature sides. Also one dollar from the shakes will be donated to the Eastern Pennsylvania Girl Scouts as well as all of the quarters from the arcade. So come eat and play and support.

Warmer Weather Wednesday Joy

Today is a good 70 degrees. I will be out enjoying it. I’m going to a Women’s empowerment hour at Louie Louie. Right after dinner and drinks at Volvér. I hope if the weather is good for you that you enjoy it. Sitting outside for at least 15 minutes or taking a walk is good for self care. This Sunday I plan to share some spring self care activities to get us all inspired.

Wednesday Moment of Clarity

So over the weekend I experienced some extreme lows. Let me tell you how bad it felt. I had someone use that information to weaponize it against me. Let’s be clear I have thick skin but regardless, it’s never okay to do that. Even if you know someone has mental health issues never bring it up as a plan to try to air them out about it. The last time this happened, was my husband who did it and I had to have a serious conversation about it. It’s not okay to simply use this type of information and try to hurt someone intentional or not. For all who have ever gone through that I know how bad it feels. Keep taking care of you. Don’t let the embarrassment or pain stop you from being better. I talk about that on my podcast!
