Happy Wednesday. I hope that as we get to this mid week that you are doing well. What are the things that are working for you this week? Do more of that. What are the areas that need improvement? Let’s find ways of moving towards a productive ending of the week. Let’s catch up.
Wednesday’s Joys
What made you smile so far this week? For me was being organized. I love what I do but if I am not organized I have had many of times where things fall due to my lack of keeping a schedule. A schedule works for me. Being able to be organized is one of those talents that I have possessed since I was a kid in school. The ability to look ahead of what I needed to do and carve out a plan of action is not for everyone.
I love to see that some people can be spontaneous. However as creative as I can be, I need to also organize how to make that spontaneity work best for me. For instance, creating content is about skill and creativity. An ideal can come to me at a moment’s notice. I will take that creativity and make a plan to get it done.
Affirmation Songs to Get you Through the Week
What is in a song? A lot. I truly believe in music therapy. If you have ever lived in a musically inclined household like have you were taught to hear music in so many forms. I dissect a lot of songs. A lot of them aren’t always on the up and up if you listen to the words vs how they make you feel. So you have to be honest about your goals when it comes to certain artist. Spotify (although not sponsored) has such great lists of songs that take into consideration what you need to get you through. For instance I love a good affirmation playlist. Also affirmation podcasts. Whatever you need, there’s a listening for it. Spotify definitely doesn’t miss.
End of the Week Goals-Wednesday Planning
So this is the time that we take what needs improvement and find a way to execute it. What are you planning to do to get to the end of your week? For instance if timing is not what you want-fix it. For instance a few weeks ago I kept staying up late and a lot of that was because I wasn’t as focused as I needed to be. Time and again I was getting up early and going to bed late.
So in-between I was finding I was short with the kids when it comes to attitude and mood swings. I had to take a step back and find ways to work smarter and ahead. Things like going to bed at a decent hour and stop trying to accomplish every little thing at every second wasn’t working for me. Taking breaks, outsourcing what could be outsourced, and more opened my schedule in ways I hadn’t had before.
