As a military brat I have to say an absolute thank you to all of the men and women who served in the Armed Forces. Today is the day where besides fun and days off we need to be thankful for their service. I also want to say a huge thank you to the spouses of those who served as well. You know that the spouses have made a huge sacrifice too. So many have lost their lives, gave their lives, and made sacrifices. Do we have a long road ahead? Absolutely yes! But today is about giving honor to whom honor is definitely due! Transfusion is the newest drink on the market and its delicious.
Memorial Day is Different
This Memorial Day for many has changed! We can’t do big celebrations we once did before. Cutting back doesn’t mean you can’t make the day a great one. For me, my family and I will be relaxing. I will be indulging in this day off watching the kids play. We got some new games to play as a family. The adults will be having adult “juice” and collectively we will be enjoying good food. No guests, but still a great day! I plan to get some good rest, and do as minimal as possible. I have quite a few deadlines this week and I can’t wait to share with you some amazing book reviews etc.!
