Sounds of New Orleans
As you enter the door, you will hear the best sounds of the Big Easy. It’s an amazing way to be welcomed into what will be an experience. With music blaring you see from the ceiling to wall full of decorations. On every inch of the bar you are engulfed with the look of New Orleans. The golds, greens, and purple are magnificent to see.
Mardi Gras Inspired Cocktails
There are so many amazing drinks to try. What would a bar without drinks be? I tried them all so here are some of them that are a highlight.
Smudge Kit Margarita
This green delight is made with Tequila, sage, and lime. It’s refreshing and has a slight bitter taste. I loved it and would add this to the top of my list to try.
Masquerade Hurricane
This is a fun drink. It comes with a mask that you can keep. It’s made with light and dark rum along with orange, pineapple, and lemon.
King of Bourbon Street
This is the larger than life milkshake. If you remember when I went during Christmas time you are already aware that they hold the crown for milkshake explosion. This shake is made with king cake, white chocolate, cinnamon, caramel drizzle, a powdered donut, beads and festive sprinkles.
Just by it’s design it’s epic. Trust me. These are definitely social media worthy.
Let’s Eat: Mardi Gras Food
Big Easy Burger
All of those drinks needs some food to accompany it. The Big Easy Burger is made with smashed patties, topped by Old Bay seasoned fries, American cheese, bourbon salted fried shrimp, creole remolaude sauce, sautéed onions on a Martin potato roll. This will definitely be a crowd pleaser!
King Cake Fries
This is a sweet treat. It’s sweet potato fries with a brown sugar glaze, praline sauce, cinnamon sugar, green and purple sugar. Again if you’re not looking for a sweet taste o would suggest getting regular. For those who love sweet it’s a must have.
Dirty Rice
Is there really New Orleans inspired food without dirty rice? Never! Craftsman Row Saloon has dirty rice with shrimp. It’s very flavorful. You will love it!
There are many more food options. From appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, shakes and Mardi Gras inspired drinks. Getting into the Mardi Gras spirit is now easier than ever. Thanks to Craftsman Row and Aversa PR for having me.
Highly Recommend
This is a great spot to catch drinks for happy hour or making a weekend meet up with friends. You also can schedule your time on Open Table. You are going to want to schedule so that you’re guaranteed seating on the day and time you want. This is especially great and don’t forget the pop up is happening until March 1st on Fat Tuesday!
