Appetizers at King of Prussia Grill and Tavern
Nothing starts off your dining experience like a good appetizer. Whether you want to enjoy them by yourself or share these appetizers are delicious and full of variety. From the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla to the Old Bay Dusted Fries, there are something for everyone.
Grilled Chicken Quesadilla
Let’s talk about the Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. A quesadilla is an appetizer or meal that is timeless. My husband enjoyed them. You can definitely eat them as a meal or share them too. I loved how quick King of Prussia Grill and Tavern served us. We probably took longer to order than they took to bring it us. Since we went at lunch time there was a crowd of people but everyone was serviced fast. The quesadilla was hot and perfect.
128 Nachos
Whenever I do a review, I love to do the meals that are truly camera ready. These nachos were it. They were topped well and you can add chicken, or beef to the top as well. The nachos’ sauce was plentiful as well. Not the kind where you need to figure out if the restaurant had run out. Even with me video and capturing images did it go cold.
Cocktails at King of Prussia Tavern
They are currently working on a cocktail menu. However they did have 3 of them on display. I had the Queen of Prussia which is amazing Lemon Drop. My husband had the King of Hearts which is an Old Fashioned. I do judge cocktails harshly. The reason is simple, those who are like me who love a good cocktail all want to know how heavy or light is the pour. Our drinks were made well. The pour of alcohol is perfection. So you’re not going to be irritated that you spent however money on them and be disappointed in the least bit.
Happy Hour at King of Prussia Taver
For every Sunday that the Eagles remain undefeated, each adult 21 and up will receive a complimentary mimosa with a purchase. Available on Sundays only. The rest of the Happy Hour specials are as follows:
Entrees at King of Prussia Grill and Tavern
Of course after having a cocktail and a starter, you if you make it through it want an entree. There are 13 options for handhelds. That doesn’t include the salads and dinner entrees available after 4pm. The options are a great mix to meat any dietary needs. If you are looking for a challenge, try the Fit for King or Queen menu. These are your larger than life options. The Sweetwater Grilled Cheese, Triple Bacon Cheeseburger, and the What the Cluck Chicken Sandwich. Again I caution that they are huge and filling.
What the Cluck Chicken Sandwich
To be honest, I have seen very limited meals that my husband can’t finish and this sandwich is one. Made with 3 golden brown fried chicken breasts all smothered in orange habanero and buffalo sauce, sharp, cheddar, and American cheese, and finally served with a pound of seasoned fries. They weren’t cluckin around!
Black Bean Burger
This is a black bean burger perfection. I do eat quite a few of them and this was definitely not a frozen burger. It’s house made and fresh while being served with a side of nachos. I have to admit I didn’t quite get the nachos but the burger was outstanding.
Make Room for Dessert at King of Prussia Grill and Tavern
The dessert menu leaves you with so many options. We chose the molten chocolate cake. Oh boy it was the right choice. It melted with perfection. Served with a side of vanilla ice-cream. There is also Deep Fried Cheesecake, Oreo Mousse Cake and more.
