December Holiday Edition

Happy December! We did it. Finally crossing into the last month of the year. From the holiday music and food to gift giving and more this month is going to fly super fast. I will give you a few tips to keep your mental health intake. So although things will speed up let’s find ways to also slow it done as we shift into a new year.

Write a Friend Month-December Goals

I know many of us will send out holiday cards. These are always nice to get or send. However add in one letter that is of the personal nature. Also being considerate of your single or childless friends. I ask my friends if they want to receive a card. Sometimes receiving cards that have my kids can be a trigger for some. Writing a letter makes it less about status and more about appreciation and a true check in. I was on that clock app again and a creator on there talked about asking friends if they have the mental capacity to entertain your needs or issues. I will be writing a blogpost on this tomorrow covering this.

National Handwashing

As someone who is writing this updating this post from her sick bed-wash your hands. It is important as we keep going through cold and flu season, to be vigilant on hand washing. Also limit the family and friends that are gathering while sick. If you are sick stay at home. No need to get others sick for no reason. If you are struggling which I do not know why now you could be, do better. Keep hand sanitizer on you for the times where soap and water is available.

For instance I give the kids hand sanitizer as soon as they get in the car. Then I also spray a little Lysol on their backpacks and lunch bags too. Also I know that we are outside but when the pandemic was here we did so much better. Now we are getting comfortable again. Take care of you.

10th Year Blogiversary

I celebrated 10 years as a Blogger.  Although I didn’t get a chance to celebrate really big, I definitely will in the near future. This is a huge accomplishment. I started this after my postpartum struggle. That time was sacred. I was already struggling with my body and mind after my last baby. In addition every change that could happen in these 10 years I have gone through them while also pushing through and sticking to what I love.

The collaborations are also one of the parts I love. Being able to decide what I want to get involved in or walk away has given me a sense of accomplishment.
