Okay so it’s almost that time of the year where the ladies will have an even more of a reason to be naked, yes it’s Halloween time. I was looking online for costumes and it’s a sad selection. I’m not knocking a little sexy back but goodness everything is over sexualized.
I mean you can barely get a costume without most of the material missing or someone is giving the material away either way it’s not there. I swear I’m at the point where if I wanted to be a brownie someone would find a way to make that into something too. Now let’s start off with the disclaimer I’m fully aware that there are many reasons that some don’t celebrate it and that’s fine. However you don’t have to smoke cigarettes to know they’re bad.
The key factors for going out anytime during the holiday are:
1. Safety
Yes we all know that there are bad people but around this time they take it up an extra notch so be aware of your surroundings. Also be choosy with what you consume. Drinks whether alcoholic or not too. Don’t assume anything.
2. Environment
Understand that you could be invited to parties in areas you don’t normally travel to. Ladies especially should always have money on them or a back up plan should you be on a Halloween date and they should act up. That really should be customary all around but again around this time people step it up in the lack of common sense area so be prepared.
3. Patience
Some people will allow their ignorance to shine a little brighter than others. You can’t get into fight mode for it all. Remember that some people are wearing costumes everyday. The holiday is just an excuse to allow their real selves to be seen.
4. Be creative
Most adult costunes cost about 50 dollars or more. Get creative. Find something you can be and either make it or make it up. Some parties do have original costume contest. Why not win and save money?
Have a safe holiday!! Keep these praticial items in the back of your mind when you’re out and about. Know the people you are going out around this time and have a back up plan in place at all times.
