ToiTime

Mental Wellness and Self Care Queen

FunBox is here and it’s the largest bounce park and it’s packed with so much fun. So, if you haven’t heard of it, here is a breakdown and my thoughts and pro tips of what to expect and more. We were invited to FunBox, but the views expressed are all mine.

What to expect at FunBox

You can purchase your tickers onsite however I would suggest that you purchase the tickets before you go. Depending on when you go and the time you could experience the bounce park being at full capacity. This is fun for the whole family. I do suggest that you stay with kids 10 and under. If you have toddlers be careful to be with them as you don’t want to have them, get trampled on. While there I didn’t experience any major issues.

Wear comfortable clothing that is conducive for being active. You will need to purchase their nonslip socks. Pro-tip: get the VIP ticket. Instead of the normal 80 minutes you will get 2 hours of play time, socks, and a snow cone. Be prepared due to being in the elements that there could be an insurgence of bees. If you are allergic bring your EpiPen. There are porter potties  available as well as sinks for you to wash your hands. You will need to keep the socks on so there is a storage area for shoes.

Hours of Fun

I am sure it is because we were there for content that they gave us more time to play but it took a lot to get the kids out of the bounce park. They really enjoyed it. I did too. I encourage parents to get inside of it and play too. For my gym I used my play time with FunBox. It helped to switch it up for me. In addition, I am glad to always mirror being active as a part of an active lifestyle. Consider a few other tips:

• Wear and bring sunblock

• Bring an extra pair of socks to switch out of before heading home

• Have your reusable water bottle-there is water to purchase

• Cards/Wallet pay is available only no cash is on site

Inflatable Obstacle Course

What I liked while there was watching everyone race against one another. There are plenty of areas to use it as an obstacle course. In addition, make sure that you again be courteous of others. The one issue that I saw was people sitting in front of the exit and entrance. You can’t block it. There are seats available for sitting for spectators etc. Shout out to the crew members who helped move the people out of the way. As comfortable as it seems to sit there it can open you up for potential injuries and accidents.

FunBox Slides and More

There are many places for kids to run and slide. I think that it honestly was the most fun part. The kids couldn’t figure out what there most fun part. A lot of it runs into one another. The FunBox is made of two major areas pushed together. One of the things that you will notice that will happen is cleaning times. They will stop the fun to inspect and clean the areas. Please be courteous to the staff. Encourage your children to come out of it too. There are many times we watched kids having so many meltdowns.

Would I go back to FunBox?

I would absolutely go back. It was a lot of fun, well organized, and worth the trip from Philadelphia to Cherry Hill New Jersey. My best suggestion is that for parents to form a few play dates here. It makes it easy for kids to play and enjoy themselves. We went late in the afternoon early evening, and it made for bedtime to run super smoothly. Thank you to FunBox for having the entire family. There are many locations all over. The location I went to was in Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey.
