Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. I hope you had a great weekend. Some of you may be deep into the holiday shopping and decorating. Others may not. Personally, I have struggled with daylight savings, and I know I am not the only one. So, here’s a recap of a heavy media week. I am about 3 content pieces behind. It’s been a week. However here are the things that went down this week.
The Talking Teacup Friday Review
I went to the Talking Teacup in Chalfont which is about an hour outside of Philadelphia. If you love tea, you will find this spot to be everything and more. Not only do they have an amazing assortment of teas you get to take your time while drinking it. Tea drinkers unite that they have teas that commemorate with seasons too. I have the white chocolate tea and I was impressed. Every cup was delicious. They also serve food. My girl, Ashley of Ash_defoodie accompanied me. It was a 5-course meal, but the meal is smaller portions. So have that in mind for about 35 dollars per person and it comes with a pot of tea. Honestly, you really do not need more than a pot of tea.
Toyota x Philadelphia Eagles
I got a call of a lifetime when Toyota called me again to attend the Dallas Cowboys game this past Sunday. I literally had no time to adjust but thankfully the other media events I was supposed to attend understood. They allowed me to reschedule,and I will attend them this weekend.
In addition as a military brat they honored military personnel ahead of Veteran’s Day! The game was crazy. I took my cousin since we were supposed to meet each other at another function. My husband of course attended, and I allowed him to pick who he wanted to attend with us and he chose his best friend.
As always Toyota welcomed us with all the grace that can be extended. Not only did we have amazing tickets, but we also had great parking by parking in the K lot. This lot is adjacent to the entrance. Thank you, Toyota, for your gift of hospitality. Of course, Dallas was defeated by Eagles in the nail clutching game. We also went and had a time at Xfinity Live. I hadn’t been in there in a long time. Great drinks, extremely crowded, and different rooms and food to choose from. If you are in there it’s for the party vibes.
Craftsman Row Saloon Friday Highlight
If you love Christmas bars Craftsman Row is one of my favorites in Philadelphia. This wall to floor Christmas bar is amazing. The drinks are delicious as well as the food. You will enjoy your time here. From shots to over-the-top milkshakes (can be made boozy), cocktails, and more this is your spot. I enjoy going as an Influencer and then I always go outside of that with at least one of my friends so they can experience it too. They are now open 7 days a week and have later hours too giving everyone the opportunity to take the holidays to a sweet level. Come in your best Christmas outfits as this is social media worthy.
Go MJ!
My son, Mj played with his basketball team at the Wells Fargo Center. We opened this up to local family and friends to come and support. Thanks to all who answered the call. He was amazing. His team did a great job and once again created memories. We also enjoyed sitting courtside taking it all in. He is doing well with learning the sport and getting better daily. Shout out to seeing my son do great things.
Kendra Scott Shopping Friday Review
I was invited to travel to Delaware to go to the newest Kendra Scott store located in the Christina Mall. It was a nice 30-minute ride of peace and listening to books along the way. Once inside it was magically beautiful. There are stores then there are Kendra Scott stores. It’s beautiful inside. I was treated to make my own jewelry any you can too. Pick your stone, color, and piece and customize a handmade piece for yourself or loved one. In addition to that, we tried their new fragrance from their new line. My favorite is the Amber Aura.
I was treated well. Starting off with champagne and ending with desserts the warmness of the stores is absolutely inviting. Its so well lit and makes it completely inviting. Enfluencers Party with Enroute Marketing
Last night was a full-on party. I was invited to 3 events however I only committed to only one. I will be visiting the other 2 places before the holidays and report back. The party was at McGillin’s Olde Ale House. This is my second year attending and every year it gets better and better. The drinks at McGillin’s were outstanding. My favorite is the Peppermint Bark. It is the second Christmas bar that I have attended, and I have about a handful more to go to before the month ends. Once I go to them all I will do one big post. I could do it now since many of them I have already attended before, but I want it to be fresh.
This bar is beautiful and has a second floor as well. The food is good too and the staff is nice as well. It is located inside of an alley way so be aware of that. The GPS will take you to the area and you will have to look up for it. Depending on where you come off the street. It is well lit though.
Christmas Trees and Savings
I have my tree up but it’s not decorated. I am in a campaign with King of Christmas. If you know about them, they are stunning trees. I have the 7.5 Queen Flock. This Week’s Target Deals
You should know I am a Target sale. As much as people say Target is expensive, there is always sales going on or things that you may love. Here are a few things that caught my eye. If you see, there is a theme for my own Christmas tree decorations. I am switching my color for the first time since I turned 18. My husband’s family as well as mine tree have always been red, green and gold. But this year we are going rose gold and I got the idea after I had our ornament made in Disney this past summer. Surprise none of the kids have destroyed and it made it way back with us on the plane with no issues. Do not worry when it is decorated, I will showcase it.
So that is this week. One top of that tomorrow if you are in the Philadelphia area my youngest daughter and I are hosting a special preview of the Trolls, Band Together. The movie comes out November 17th, but we will be having a special showing tomorrow, November 11th at 11am at the AMC Neshaminy Mall. There will be a give away too in addition to the one I held on Instagram. It is free but you must register.
This was a long recap, but I have some down time this weekend with a little nail therapy and a spa day I can’t wait. Find one activity that you enjoy and do it. Fill your cup. Happy Friday!
