Happy Friday. Today is a good day to have a good day. So many are preparing for a great holiday weekend when you think about 4th of July and more. This week has been crazy trying to get back into the flow social media and blogging events and more. So,here’s the recap of this week and more.
Friday Vacation Recap
The Disney vacation before you go guide is up. In it I tired to focus on packing, passes to get and more. I will be reviewing the parks as well and featuring content that showcases food, drinks, and more. So many people go to Disney every year. If you have never been this guide will help you figure a few things out. In addition, I also give you the listing of my Disney planner, Liz. She helped streamline a lot of the options so all we had to do was go and have a good time. Most if not all the things we wanted to do was loaded and ready before we touched down in Florida.
Blondie in Manayunk
If you need space to hold your next event, consider Blondie. From the beautiful aesthetics to the food and drinks you can be the hostess with the mostest. In addition, the complimentary valet is always a great hit as parking is one of the reasons people don’t want to trouble with attending events to begin with. I attended the space this week and I must say there is more than enough space to host a party and make it your own including a dedicated bar for drinks or even mocktails.
Elemental
We took the kids to see Elemental but went on a late movie time. I figure that it would allow me to relax a little before we left. However, with it being late we also got home late too. It’s the summer and I allow a relaxed schedule. Next week we will be adding in swimming days and amusement parks too. I can’t wait to start the summer adventures. The movie is a solid one. I loved how it talked about in its own way mental health that I believe kids can understand. From not understanding that our feelings good or bad is still communicating to us something is wrong. I had a conversation with the kids about that the next day and it seemed to go over well. For the adults its also a great movie as well.
Kimmel Cultural Center Arts Free Avenue of the Arts Fest
I attended last year with the family it was a really good time. There were events to do outside as well as inside. The family enjoyed the food and drinks too. Plus, there are a lot of activations and even opportunities to win prizes like tickets to upcoming shows and more. If you are looking to jump start your weekend add the Kimmel Cultural Center Arts Fest to your listing. A lot of the activities are free. The party is block party style so you can let the family walk around and enjoy their time. It will be from 11am-7pm on Saturday July 1, 2023, with performances from 11-3pm. Bring the entire family out for a full fun day. The location for the Avenue of the Arts fest is Broad Street between Locust and Spruce Street.
Gabby Dollhouse Fans?
DreamWorks Animation’s hit Netflix series Gabby’s Dollhouse has set off on a global journey to meet her fans at festivals and Walmart stores. The Gabby on the GO tour will be making its way to Philadelphia area. Also, while attending not only can, you meet Gabby but you can also win prizes, giveaways and more. Gabby will be coming to Peco Go 4th and Learn on June 30th (today) at 3100 Lower Walnut Street from 10-12noon. In addition, Gabby will be a part of the Wawa Welcome America celebration at the Avenue of the Arts that I mentioned above from 11am-6pm. And if you miss both of those opportunities you can also meet Gabby at Walmart on July 2 from 10-2:30 at the Roosevelt Blvd Walmart.
Conversations with Toi Friday Podcast
I am sorry for not informing others that there would be no podcast. In my defense, I am not one to announce vacations for safety reasons. However, we are back and talking about the Disney Magic and mental health while on vacation. So many people go on vacation but because they will not allow themselves to be and feel free it becomes a waste of money in a sense. In addition, I highlight another failed brand trip with Shein. Why are people jumping on brand trips without doing their research and more? Tune into the episode.
Weekend Vibes-Friday Relaxation
We will be doing a lot of relaxing, getting the house together, celebrating with friends and more. I hope that whatever you are doing on this Friday and beyond that you enjoy it and drink responsibly for those who drink. The police will be out conducting sobriety tests. Remember in this time and age there is no reason to drink and drive with ride shares and more. Wishing you and your family an amazing 4th of July holiday.
