Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. This week has been filled with a lot of family time. Fall isn’t here yet but there is a lot of previews of Fall from weather to food and more. What are we feeling? My content is changing yet again for the Fall.  So,  stay tuned. We will be covering a few things in this new season. Friday Movie Recap

I lead a group of people to see the newest Transformers movie, Transformers One. It is extremely good. There is some adult language and for that you should use caution on taking your own kids. My husband had the kids watch the original movies to be prepared and it helped. If you loved watching the series as a kid, you will fall over in full joy with this newest installation of the movie. Will I see it again? Hands down I am counting it down. The movie comes out on September 20, 2024, and it is a mark your calendar type of movie.

Dave and Busters Weekend Fun

I was invited to go to Dave and Busters with the family. We had a great time. It was good to learn about how they have really stepped out their party planning with space, food, fun, drinks, and even team building exercises. You can take an idea for a holiday or meeting gathering and step it up for this year with Dave and Busters. Plus, there’s games for the whole family too. We really enjoyed our time and can’t wait until we go back.

DNC Friday Recap

The DNC was this week, and it was a star-studded event. From the speeches to the performances. I really enjoyed it. The most that I really liked was the messaging. What I didn’t like was people who commented who weren’t there. From the fact that many people had something to say for instance about Tim Walz son who I was told was nonverbal really got on my nerves. It’s one thing to find something wrong with things but kids no matter what should be off limits. The takeaway from everything is not worrying about who performed or spoke but to do something as Michelle Obama stated. Get out and vote. Check your status.

Conversations with Toi Friday Podcast drop

On this episode we cover all things about not letting others bait you. From online engagement to family and friends. I personally give people about a 2 comment limit online. Why?! Most times you don’t know the people you are arguing with. The ones I do know it’s rare that I feel the need to be engaged past online. Most folks I don’t see often enough for all of it.

Self care at Uncle Bobbie’s

This week in anticipation of the new movie, THE SUPREMES AT EARL’S ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT by Search Light Pictures I was able to enjoy the new Brown Skin Girl Latte! It was delicious by the way. The vibes there are amazing. I love a great bookstore and coffee shop and this was perfect. Plenty of places to read, do work, and more the backdrop of this infamous bookstore is something I can’t put into words.
