Happy Friday. Welcome to the weekend. How did everyone do with their short week? I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing Labor Day. Let’s get into some wellness, media events, and more. Here is the roundup of what went down this week,
Back to School Full Day
Although this was a short week my kids finally had a full day of school. It was great to see how a full day of movement would work for everyone. I will say it was hectic. I added media events in the midst of this and I feel like I have been running marathons all week. In the midst of that I also set some time aside for things such as flu shots and more. Back to school as the kids continue to navigate their new school has been full of interesting moments.
Like for instance we asked for the gym schedule didn’t get it. My daughters were prepared and my son wasn’t. In addition we received the wrong shorts for my son for gym and now they have to be returned. A mess right? I have enjoyed making breakfast and the hustle of the morning. I am a morning person.
Wellness Week Focus
This week we have been focusing on wellness. From morning and night routines to what we eat. I hope you have been finding the information of value. As we start a new season being more aware of your journey will be important. Also what works for one may not work for you. Do what works for your busy life. In addition add some time to slow down. Today I am getting a facial which to be honest I always fall asleep in. With the things on my plate for this weekend I need it for sure.

Negroni Week Friday Preview
This is a week of cocktails from September 12-18 all around the world. It benefits Slow Food to help those who don’t have access to quality food. They are focusing on the Ukraine this year. For every Negroni purchased a portion will go to these efforts. So find a participating bar and enjoy. This is a driner’s drink. It is made with Campari, Gin, and Vermouth. I must say it is strong. In Philadelphia, all Fearless Restaurants are participating.
Conversations with Toi Friday Drop
We are back with Season 7. Today we also celebrate 10k Downloads. We achieved that before the start of the new season. I am over the moon with happiness right now. For today’s guest we have T. Dalton Combs.
Dr. T. Dalton Comb’s passion is understanding the causes and consequences of human behavior. First as a neuroeconomics PhD researcher at University of Southern California, and author of “Digital Behavioral Design.” Second, as a tech startup founder applying cutting edge neuroscience. Dalton explores how the brain mechanisms that underlie value, reward, and motivated behavior can be used to help people form healthy habits and live better lives. Dalton leads Temper with an unrivaled understanding of the brain, the future of technology, and the interaction between the two. On today’s episode, we discuss intermittent fasting and wellness.
Thank you to all who support and continue to support us in this journey.
Friday Vibes
I will be updating the blog to include a play I attended this week on tomorrow’s blog. In addition to the play I attended the Fearless Restaurants Negroni preview. I will be at another Fringe Arts Show tonight. So my vibes will be relaxing for a little bit because my weekend is full. Please keep my husband’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they are experiencing a loss right now. I hope your weekend you find some personal joy. I am participating in a walk this weekend too as we go into my son’s birthday weekend. What a blessing to be his Mom. Cheers to you and yours.
