Happy Friday, goodbye Summer, and cheers to the weekend. I hope your week has been a good one. For me the week has flown so fast with next week being super charged with events and more. For now, I want to make sure you are caught up in some media events from the week and more.
Conversations with Toi-Friday Podcast Drop
We are back with a new episode. If you didn’t get a chance to listen to last week’s episode, take a listen. From the people in our circle who do more harm than good to so much more. I released the episode on Sunday due to me being at the season opener of the Philadelphia Eagles game. This week’s episode we have Athena Monet. She is an author, gifted intuitive healer, and spiritual guide. Born into a lineage of remarkable women, Athena inherited the extraordinary gifts of clairvoyance and clairsentience from her family.
Fueled by a deep curiosity and thirst for knowledge, Athena immersed herself in the realms of art, interior architecture, and diverse spiritual disciplines during her studies at the Ohio State University. She explored the realms of yoga, astrology, philosophy, Buddhism, and anthropology, almost completing a minor in Anthropology—a path that would shape her understanding of human experiences and cultures.
Philadelphia Zoo Beer Fest-Friday Recap
I had a time last week at the beer fest. So many beer and other cocktails were present. VIP ticket holders were able to enter in an hour before general public. For those who do not drink beer there are always ciders, and mixed cocktails in a can to enjoy. The event is held rain or shine but luckily it was one of the most beautiful weekends to hold an outdoor event. In addition to the beers and drinks were a mirage of amazing food truck vendors. One of the best things I suggest to do is always pace yourself and bring a designated driver whose tickets are only $20. Keep in mind the designated driver will not be served anything outside of water or soft drinks they purchase from the food truck. It was an amazing time to be with my crew.
Beauty and Bellin’s Event with Philadelphia Fearless Femmes
We had a great time learning about women who are paving the way in their field. Two speakers and entrepreneurs were present, Lisi Lerch who owns a thriving jewelry company and Korin Korman who owns Body + Beauty Lab. These two women showcased amazing strength as they discussed the ups and downs of being entrepreneurs. The Philadelphia Fearless Femmes will hold monthly events showcasing a variety of strong and empowering women. Next month on October 23 rd from 6:30-8pm come and learn from an up-and-coming fashion artist. The event will be held at Rosalie located in Wayne, PA. The tickets are $30 and include light bites and a cocktail.
School Adjustment
The kids have now been in school for 2 full weeks now. They are busy as ever. One child has joined the backstage crew for productions that takes them from home at least 2 days a week. Another child is playing the drums, and the last child is doing basketball. So now we are really Uber parents as we manage the schedules and more. This is in addition to all I do with the blog and the podcast.
To say that we are tired is an understatement. I hope all the students that are in school are adjusting well. Our kids especially the older two are spending a lot of time at night with homework. We have been prioritizing time management. With my schedule they are home most days by 330pm.
However even with a snack break homework may get done by 8pm. Either way we are grateful that so far, they are managing and doing well.
Fall Events and Friday Check In
A lot of the events there were to take place that are also outside have been cancelled due to the weather on its way. So before attending and making plans go to each event’s website and social media for an update. Here are some events to keep in mind even when the weather break to have on your radar:

So that is all for now. I will update all Fall events next week as we get closer to October and spooky season. Either way have the most amazing weekend. I had a few plans that fell through a few more that got bumped up.
This weekend I have some back end updates that will take place on the blog. You will start to see the changes subtly. Thank you for all of your love and support. Happy Friday to you all!
