Happy Friday. Today is a good day to have a good day. With that being said thank you for your continued support. It is such an honor to finally get to Friday. With that being said, there are a lot of media activities that took place and a few announcements of some new things on the horizon.
Friday Relaxing
I can’t wait to simply relax. The type of relaxing that just allows you to sit back and enjoy some peace and quiet. I have no media events today and that was done on purpose. With so man pulling on my schedule I added in no media day blocks. During these blocks, I will be able to stop allowing my own schedule to be monopolized and allow for some down days. This is another form of self care that I mention often and that is using the word NO. NO is a full on sentence. It doesn’t need an amen corner or agreement. Use your NO as often as possible.
Ticket to Paradise
I hosted a special screening for Ticket to Paradise featuring George Clooney and Julia Roberts. It follows the divorced couple as they celebrate their daughter’s graduation. As he takes a trip of a lifetime she makes a decision that could change her entire life. So the couple rush out to save her. In the midst of this sabotage will redemption prevail? It is everything and more that you need in a romantic comedy. So get out today and this weekend and enjoy. Thanks to Allied Global for allowing me to host this screening.
Ghouls Night Out
Last night I attended Ghouls Night Out. It was one part shopping, one part food and drinks, and lastly hearing from Jennifer Robinson on her life. Not only did she win the entire Classic Universe in Las Vegas this year but her story of triumath is real. Going from being in a car accident to learning how to put her life together and thrive-she’s one to watch. I enjoyed the vendors. There was something for everyone. The food which the event was held at Autograph Brasserie was outstanding. I was united with my Butternut Squash soup.
Conversations with Toi-Friday Podcast Drop
It’s Friday which means episode 7 forns Season 7 is out. We talk about breaking up with friends. It’s hard to do. Sometimes we ignore it and that can cause things to end. However when ignoring doesn’t work it’s time to put an action plan together. When was the last time you broke up with a friend. Some say it’s harder than a romantic relationship. We also talk about learning not to allow others to dump on you too. Be aware of your mental health. When you’re not able to help be there for others in other ways.
High School Prayers-Friday Dive in
My daughter is in the final stages of finding a high school. This process even for Catholic Schools is very close to what it’s like to apply to college. She starts her scholarship testing this weekend. I am asking for those that believe in the power of prayer to keep her in their prayers. It is a big decision and we are listening to what she wants and needs to make the decision.
Last Weekend for Theater Productions
This is the last weeked for the following plays:
Those with Two Clocks and The Chairs. I will attempt to get the blog up for The Chairs today. Please go and support both if you are in the Philadelphia area. Also make sure you are following my Facebook page as I announce the most up to date events happening especially for Halloween, theater and more.
Blogs you May Have Missed
With this week of me being sick you haven’t missed much. I took this week to get me together. Thank you to the PR that didn’t make me jump through hoops because I couldn’t attend an event or get out a review in my normal turnaround time. I appreciate you.

Well that is all I have. I hope to see you at some of the upcoming events. I love it when people tag me and tell me that something they have seen has been a blessing or that they had a fun time.
Holidays are coming and I have a holiday guide this year for mental health and self care needs. From what you put into your body to what you can do with your time. As always from all price points too!
