Happy Friday! Cheers to the weekend! This was a long short week! From Memorial Day holiday to all of the winds and turns in my personal life, it’s been quite a ride! So let’s talk about it!
Memorial Day Weekend
To all of our fallen soldiers who put their lives on the line, we say thank you. As a military brat, I will always stand for the armed forces. For the actual day my family and I spent the weekend relaxing. We watched movies, cooked out, and enjoyed family time. We weren’t too engulfed in our phones just caught up on television and read books! It was one of the most best weekends ever!
Doctor Appointment
I had a cyst in my back that got infected. I went to see my surgeon to schedule surgery but I have to wait for 2 weeks to get it done. In the meantime with the amount of pain I was in she decided to cut and drain as much as she could in the office. To say I have been in pain this week is an understatement. I am grateful that with me visiting her I have discovered that I have 3 other cysts that have to be removed when I do have surgery. I will keep everyone posted. My goal since I have a lot of my content pre-planned is not have a delay! Your prayers are always appreciated
New Month: Happy June
Happy June! We are now 6 months away from finishing 2021! With it all seemingly to be spent in quarantine. The world is opening up. People are ready to get out and about. I understand that many won’t get vaccinated. I hope that if you’re able to and want it to get it done as soon as possible. It’s not my job to push that one way or another. Stay safe no matter what you do! Be vigilant that as you get out, you’re going to want to do what’s comfortable! We will talk next week about goal checks. I do goal checks every day, week, month, 6 months and 9 months before I reset them at the year mark!
Father’s Day
On Sunday June 20 is Father’s Day! We will have Father’s Day content on Facebook starting Sunday June 13th. My Father’s Day gift guide will be out tomorrow! I want us to celebrate amazing fathers and men who deserve it. I come from an absentee father. I’ve had more connection with his siblings and other children than I have ever had with him. I however have an amazing step father and most of the men on my step father’s side of the family are A1! There are many fathers for whatever reason aren’t involved! For the ones who are present, let’s make sure we make their day bright!!

Pride Month
It’s Pride month. For every individual that is apart of the LGBTQ+ community it’s your month to shine. Keep in mind that not everyone feels safe to come out. The ones who have come our some have lost the love and respect of their family and friends. I’ve been an ally and will continue to be. People should be who they want to be without fear of death or harm. So I hope this month is filled with joy!
