Happy Friday and cheers to the weekend. This was a short week for many and I am hoping that this week was the best it could possibly be for you and your family. Happy June. New month always means new goals. So what went down this week?
Memorial Day Fun
I think this past Memorial Day was a lot of fun. From seeing family and friends to pool time, cleaning, and rest I stepped into the week feeling so refresh and on top of my Sunday/Monday scaries. I hope that each and everyone of you were able to spend time with those you love or at least started the unofficial call to Summer on the right foot. With Memorial Day passing by it only means that for parents the school year is almost to a close. This will leave the teachers to get some much needed rest, vacation, or unfortunately some work to build their savings for the school year and more. The reason we celebrate Memorial Day is to give honor to those who have given their lives as the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.
The Flash Movie-Friday Preview
If you love the Flash you will love the new movie coming to theatres on Friday June 16, 2023. I am giving away tickets to view it in Philadelphia ahead of the premiere. This movie was hands down the movie of the year easily. With all of the movies that have been out that is a large statement to make but I stand behind it. Beetlejuice is at The Kimmel Cultural Center
If you love one of America’s quirkiest monster than Beetlejuice is your first choice. I remember watching this as a kid. Seeing it at the Kimmel Cultural Campus makes me remember that the movie and especially the theatre show is not for kids. Read the blog to catch up on my full feelings on the musical.

June’s Welcome
I just lined up a few more brand trips in addition to some amazing content ideals where I will be working with some more brands that I will be able to take the family along for the journey. This season that I am in feels so good. It’s been a little while where I have seen this much increase, talent recognition and more. I am grateful for all opportunities. Let’s talk about numbers, popularity, and wisdom. This business is a numbers driven field. However the key to being successful in it is to focus on the content, reminding yourself of your why, and being consistent. With all three taks there’s nothing that can’t come your way.
Roots Picnic
I will be covering the Roots Picnic this weekend. It should be a lot of fun. As always follow along with me on my stories and I take you along. The goal is to get there, have a good time, stay out of trouble as far as any drama and enjoy the performances. As always I will do a recap blog of the events and some of the things that I loved. The line up is amazing. I would suggest the following: go at you own pace. I am going to add in some errands that I need to do in between I arrive.
This way I can go for who and what I came for. With my anxiety and large crowds I am making a plan of where to go should I get separated from my friends as well as leaving my location on and more. Which means this music festival will help me to write next week’s music fest blog which is a form of traveling. You do know that people travel all over the world to hear their favorite artists.
Ahead of next week’s blog post I would encourage all of the Roots Picnic attendees to make sure that you double check their bag policy, wear comfortable shoes, and more. I scoured their website and the app (highly suggest you download). In addition save your tickets on your wallet for your phone that way you don’t have to fiddle with them later.
