Friday Recap-Redwood Beauty and Wellness
There is no greater feeling than being able to tap into some self care. We know that self care comes in many forms. For me I love to try new things and that’s what I did at Redwood Beauty and Wellness. I tried their infrared detox and it was one for the books. From the heat to the hospitality it was one that I will remember. Will I be back? Absolutely. The staff was hands down amazing.

Volvér’s newest Chef Residency is Juan Lopez
We had a blast dining at Volvér. The hospitality is always so amazing. If you have ever been you know that the lighting is always low to either help you create a romantic mood especially closer to the bar. If you are near the chef’s table there is a little more light. Keep that in mind if you are ever making reservations. Juan’s residency will continue until February 15th.
The menu consisted of a fresh mixed salad with almonds and fried cheese, burrata with honey, and cheesesteak egg rolls for the appetizer. The main course choices were crispy short rib, sea bass, potato gnocchi, and spice chicken. For dessert we were served with banana pudding. Volvér always does a great job with the cocktails. The Top Hat probably was my favorite. It’s made with Old Grandad, grapefruit, lemon, honey, and sea salt. Keep in mind, the Top Hat and We’ll Meet Again will look extremely similar.

Weekend Vibes
This is a heavy PR/media weekend. Although this isn’t my normal weekend load, I am glad to partner with Wellness Phl to help raise money for Ovarian Cancer. If you are in the Philadelphia area come out on Saturday to take a yoga class with Alchemy X. Use this link to get your tickets.
Well that is all. January is a little slower than most months but do not fret things are picking up. Don’t forget tomorrow is National Vision Board day. I for one, need to work on mine. Happy Friday and again but cheers to the weekend.
