Father’s Day is around the corner. There are a lot of amazing dads! Men like to be pampered just like moms. This notion of only giving mom a really gift but leaving dad out are long gone. Men usually at least the men I’ve been around usually just like a good meal but up the ante for a great practical gift, luxury, or even a trip etc. All of the guides can be purchased at my Amazon store! Upgrade Dad’s Style
Although dad may like the same shirt and have them in various colors, get him something he loves but wouldn’t spend the money on. My dad for instance has a descent style but growing up he was always the last to purchase what he needed or wanted. Father’s Day is the perfect day to splurge on a brand he wouldn’t normally buy! Let him know that he’s special. Also think cologne too I purchased my husband some Versace and it was well received! A little upgrade doesn’t go unnoticed!
Cologne is a Science
Now for anyone who wants to get your father a great smell or your husband, boyfriend, etc for Father’s Day consider a few things. What they like! I was able to know what my husband wanted by a few factors and one was how it would personally turn my head. I also took note of his cologne collection to see the hints and smells he already was using. So with the list of what he had it made it easier to introduce a new smell. Cologne on a man when used properly is a turn on. So make sure if you’re getting one for your dad keep in mind his hues. Colognes in my opinion need not be cheap at all.
Take Dad Out
Yes I know dads who grill on Father’s Day because they don’t want a fuss, and don’t think their kids or significant other will do anything for them. We want to end that. I take my husband out minus last year for every Father’s Day. This year I feel like I’m going to be a little extra. For my dad I usually take him out as well. Dads like to eat well and if they like a drink or beer make sure you gift him that as well. Nothing says thank you like a good meal. If your dad likes to be active take them to a game or outing. Whatever you do treat your favorite father figure to a day they will never forget!
Gift of Time
Spending time with dad will make him happy. With the world opening up you may be just seeing him or hugging him for the first time in a long time. Cherish that moment. With so many dads who have transitioned or aren’t active in their child’s life, don’t underestimate time well spent. Also grab dad a great fitting watch. You can even have it engraved too.
Tie No More
You don’t to get your dad a tie. You can be incredibly creative. Dad just wants to know that you love him. He wants to be seen and given the best thank you. If your dad is the man that seems to have it all, give him a couple dollars or a gift card to his favorite store. This way he can spend it the way he wants.
Getting Dad’s Skin Right
Men need good skin care regimens too! Contrary to what people believe good skin care will take things to a new level! Some of my favorites are as follows:
I want every amazing dad to be treated with love. I didn’t start my journey with a great dad. My biological father has been absent from day one. I’m blessed that I have my dad (step) who hands down stepped up and did an amazing job. His das is truly a remarkable man. He’s the hardest working man I know. My uncles are all great as well! I was married into a great family of men. So I was raised to honor them but I graciously do it because they make being dad so easy! It’s no wonder that I married a man who exemplifies being a dad to the next level. He didn’t have a great dad at all. It only proves that being a dad is a choice!
