Happy Fall. Today I want to talk about Fall travel. For one, Fall is a great time to travel and see the colors of nature. There are a lot of things that you can do with Fall travel. One of those things with travel is taking on an adventure. So what are some of the ways to increase your Fall travel and how should you go about it?
Think about Fall Travel and Nature
If you have never done it this is a great time to consider camping. It’s something about being in nature that makes this time of the year the best. From the cooler temperatures to the fun outdoor activities that await the time to camp is now. One of the things that you should do is be prepared. Lean on others who have camped before. Make sure that you don’t overpack but that you have things for emergency purposes. Another tip is understand all of your camping gear before you go camping. This means know how to use the items. The first time I went camping was when I was a kid. I remembered how great it felt to see my camp leader pull out all of the equipment. The last camping trip I took was a year before my oldest was conceived. It was a lot of fun. Make sure to check out camping spots ahead to know what you are looking for.
Glamping
The newest crave is to go glamping. This is for those who love the thought of being outdoors but still need a few amenities. I don’t think there is wrong with either one. However I would encourage all to camp at least once in your life. Glamping is the concept of being in a beautiful RV, or us or even in a semi covered to covered location and camping. The way glamping is set up it’s like having a hotel that is outside in the midst of nature. Like with traveling with friends and family because glamping isn’t a hotel experience with own room and more be careful who you glamp with. This is an intimate experience. Sharing this with anyone will simply not work.
More Day Trips
When you can’t flights like you want to make it a day trip. When traveling for a day trip switch it up. Travel by car is a beautiful thing. Seeing the roads, mountains, and more is a really beautiful experience in the Fall. Don’t be afraid to do something new. Amtrak is the best way to see things in the Fall. I love traveling by train. Sometimes when I want to visit my extended family I will go by train. It’s not to have someone else drive and I get to see the country roads and more this way. So plan a day trip. Do things like visit a farmers market, go to a Fall Fest and more while you are on your journey.
Fall Staycation
I have one scheduled towards the end of the month. It’s a great way to enjoy some time alone, with a partner, or with your family. Try some new food, rest, and definitely dive into being a tourist without looking too much like one. This is a great way to reset especially since we are about to be in the holiday season. I highly recommend it. Go somewhere you haven’t been before or somewhere you have had on our list that is nearby and requires limited travel.
If you live in Philadelphia travel to Baltimore, outskirts of New York, Bucks County and more for your staycations.
Travel for Fall
If you have the budget set a weekend travel time. This is a Fall vacation of sorts. Think places that will give you a great experience like Texas, California, Boston, places that offer a lot of outdoor type of activities. This is for asure a great way to see things that Fall has to offer in a new location. Include some international travel. Fall is a great time to be in places like Paris or in an European country.
