Chadds Ford Winery just opened up a new location at Lahaska. If you are a wine enthusiast like myself and looking for something to do this weekend, add them to your list. I attended their Grand Opening on Thursday and it was full of amazing pizza from Common Good Pizza, wine slushies, a wine tasting, live music and just an overall experience.
What to Expect at Chadds Ford Winery Lahaska
If you have been to Peddler’s Village you are aware of the location they had there. It was on Peddler’s strip on the main road. You went in and enjoyed your wine, wine slushies, and wine popsicle. They now have one across the way and its beautiful. From the location it’s a perfect way to enjoy some wine tastings. There is plenty of seating, a wine shop to purchase wine to take home, and there’s snacks etc to enjoy. If you prefer to sit outside there is an outside seating as well.
Private Parties at Chadds Ford Winery Lahaska
If you want a little bit of a more private experience, rent the space. You get the wine to drink, a full closed in area to have some privacy and more. Its beautiful and it includes use of the outdoor patio as well. This is separate from the retail and bottle shop.
Grand Opening Vibes
As soon as I arrived to Chadds Ford Winery Lahaska, I was greeted with warm hearts and bright smiles. Anytime I have been at Chadds Ford Winery that has been the case. You know that I will always make sure that I test that out. When I came in before I gave my name it was smiles and good vibes. Once I gave my name there was no change in how I was treated. That matters.
When I give a suggestion of a business I want to know how they treat those who walk in. You only get one time to make an impression. They did an amazing job. I have attended their events but no one I had worked with in the past was in the room. There wasn’t a watch out for this person type of vibes from those who worked there or the patrons. Just an easy flow of people who wanted to have a great time as I did.
Common Good Pizza
They had a pizza food trunk from Common Good Pizza. I love food trucks of all kinds. One of the things that I love about Chadds Ford Winery is their food trucks are always on point. When I went to their Adult Trick or Treat event it was there that I had vegan cheese that made me leap for joy. I don’t know if this truck was the same one or not, but I will say that cheese was amazing. I loved being able to enjoy pizza without having the stomach issues later on.
The staff was hands down amazing. One of the chefs personally came to me to clarify my order after I walked off. I wanted spinach but the spinach had regular cheese. They clairfied my order and that pizza was delicious and hot. One of the staff unbeknownst to me walked it over to me for hand to hand delivery. I was impressed.
Wine Slushy
If you never had a wine slushy before you are missing out. Chadds Ford Winery makes them the best. I have had many wine slushies and nothing has been as delicious as this was. It’s perfection and not watered down like many others have had in the past. Also if you are ever able to have their wine popsicles that they make out of wine and then turn over into your cold wine glass with more wine-it’s a must.
Wine Vibes
So if you are the type that loves a good glass of wine from all price points, this is your nudge to get out to Chadds Ford Lahaska. Chadds Ford Winery is celebrating 40 years. From today until tomorrow they will be having giveaways, live music, and more. Get out there and enjoy some amazing food and wine. You will not be disappointed.
