Happy Taco Tuesday. I have a new taco place to share with you and it’s called Casa Taco. Casa Taco is a pick up only location that serves over 15 different combinations of tacos or burritos. So how does Casa Taco work?
Convenient Location for Casa Taco
They are located at 3300 Fairmount Avenue. You can either place an order online for pick up or have the items delivered through GrubHub, Uber Eats, or DoorDash. Regardless of how you order the food will be delivered hot and secured. If you go to the Fairmount Avenue location the process is simple. You will be given a number. You will use the kiosk to check in. If your order is ready, the door to your locker will open and you’re ready to go. The building is secure, you can park right in front to grab your items.
Grilled Shrimp Tacos
These tacos were made so well and so filling. Made with shrimp, topped with lime cabbage slaw, and pickled red onions. These tacos were full of flavor. I was able to get a behind the scenes look. Go to my Instagram to see it unfold. They didn’t make it with just a little bit of shrimp, they overfilled it just like it should be. I also watched them pack my order and others so carefully.
Quesabirria at Casa Taco
You would have to be under a rock to not know about Birria tacos. A Birria taco is a taco made with stewed meat like beef and marinated in adobo, fried, and added cheese. It’s such a good dish. Casa Taco has covered. Their Birria taco is amazing. I’ve had some other ones in Philadelphia but not quite like theirs.
California Chicken Burrito
This is such a great burrito to try. The shell is layered in mayo, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and chicken and wrapped together. Again like their tacos, the aren’t skimpy with the meat. I brought this and all of them home and within minutes they were devoured. Watching them make it made me appreciate the items even more.
Combo Meals at Casa Taco
If you don’t want to just simply order tacos, burritos, or tortas you can make it a combo meal too. Combo meals make it easy to add a drink and Chip frys without it being an extra cost. If combo meals aren’t your thing and you want to have even more control try a make your own. Combine the ingredients of your choosing and mix and match to make that taco, burrito, or tortas of your liking.

I definitely and highly recommend Casa Tacos. It’s an authentic street restaurant and the food is amazing. The service was top notched and the quality in which they deliver is worth the price. Also as many taco places that Philly has not all of them take pride in what they do like Casa Taco. The staff was welcoming not just in Casa Taco but on location too. I had the most warmest welcome than any other establishment and that says a lot since I review over 2-3 per week.
Today being Taco Tuesday is a great excuse to give them a try. Tomorrow is National Margarita day. Although they don’t have margaritas to go, these tacos make for an amazing at home experience with tacos that will fill you. Thank you the the staff of Casa Taco for having me.
