I love dining in Philadelphia. There is so many great restaurants to dine. I love Garces Group because not only do they include so many amazing restaurants under their umbrella, they also have some of the best service both in their restaurants and behind the scenes. This was my first Amada experience but definitely won’t be the last.

Cheese Board at Amada

Amada has such an eclectic selection of cheeses and offerings for their cheese boards. You can select your items individually or you can select the Chef’s selection which is called, Tabla de Charcuteria y Queso. I promise you its fresh and served with so much care. Our waitress was amazing. She walked me and Elle of Siponwhat through our options. Remember I just went to Tinto? They are both under the Garces umbrella. If you aren’t interested in a cheese board there are many other options like their Empanadas.

Amada’s Empanada

Yes that is the name of this Empanada. Its hot, gooey, and punches so much flavor. It is filled with spinach manchego, artichoke escabeche. It is a wonderful option outside of a cheese board to have. Its is cut in half and I would recommend getting more than one. This is a treat all in itself. Also know this is under their Verduras menu. There are many other options like their Piquillos.

Piquillos

This is one dish not to miss. This is a part of their Tapas. Amada and Garces Group along with Tinto have some of the best Spanish tapas that there is to have. The Piquilloas is made with crab stuffed peppers and toasted almonds. Its delicious from first bite to the last. This is a great one for all seafood/crab lovers. Trust me it does something for the palette.

Albondigas

These ae lamb meatballs. I have never eaten anything like this ever. Its soft, and flavorful. Not to mention the sauce is amazing. If you eat meat and enjoy lamb this is your must try. This is apart of the tapas selection. There is also a Chef choice that is $65 per person and that will give you a selection of tapas.

Paella Vallenciana

This is for those who came in with an appetite. It’s huge serving and definitely worth sharing. It takes about 40 or so minutes to prepare. It has chicken, chorizo paella, mussels, cherry tomatoes, and saffron aioli. This is the dish that has a little something for everyone. Its filling and delicious. Trust me with the above tapas we didn’t finish it and took half portions home where I shared with my family.

Fall Drinks-Amada’s Pain and Glory

Every dinner for the most part I love to pair it with a cocktail or wine. I had both. I had a Spanish white wine towards the end of my dinner. The Pain and Glory was absolutely delicious. Its made with Corazon Tequila Blanco, Chile, Apple and Lime. It has a kick as well as a sweet but not overly sweet taste. It’s like an apple pie in a cup. You will love it. Look at the coloring:

Service

Like I said the Garces Group definitely is about their service. Every person from the waitress to the chefs are super welcoming. They make sure that your time is spent enjoying your food. If something isn’t right they will make sure it is. Amada is at the top of my list of places to enjoy great food and atmosphere.

If you are looking to go I would highly suggest that you make reservations because they do fill up fast.

Thank  you to Aversa PR and Amada for having me. It was a great way to spend time with Elle from Siponwhat. We always love getting out into the city and making the best memories. I can’t wait for next week. I have about 3-4 events on the calendar. It’s going to be so much fun. So as always I will have all kinds of updates on those events which means we will most likely have more than our 4-5 blogs next week for you to enjoy. Make sure you are following along. When you go let me know how much you enjoyed it!

Tapas is a great date night, hang out and catch up spot, and a girls (boys)night out. For kids I didn’t see a kids menu because I didn’t take my kids but my meals at home are hearty enough that I could take my kids and they would eat and be fine here.
